I have a bit of a problem and hope someone could help. I just recently created a map and I want to get it on the server. However, when I copy the .rfa to the server the server will not load the map. All the posts are talking about modding a map already vreated but I have created one completely from scratch. It is I/O with no spawns what-so-ever. The only spawns are the soldier spawns. (No vehicles, no weapons, nothing) The only thing the map contains are buildings and props (trees, rocks, brush.. etc.) I created the map like I want it, placed the buildings and other materials. Generated surface maps, shadows and lightmaps. Created minimap etc. I have followed every tut I can as best as I can but I am still uncertain what files I need to make this work on the server. Remember, I am not modding a pre-defined map and there are no spawns other than soldiers. How to I make it server ready? Thank you very much! |

try run the debugger on the map if you havenĀ“t done it already, you can find the debugger in the download section. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3589 |

make sure in BFRM that content check is OFF. It should be off for all custom maps, unless they have a specific server and client version of it. You might want to post this in the BF1942: Q's and need assistance forum as well since it will get more attention. |
