Ok well, what I've done is started making the RPD, (MG) into a mg nest. for anyone thats played BFV or BF1942, then u know that stationary weapons like MG's have the stick coming from it so it's mountable on a wall, or window sill. What I want to do is take the RPD, (Normally non-stationary) and make an MG nest. This will probably need a good amount of editing to get the position of the Player to sit correctly, without it's legs and torso going through the ground. Any help would be appreciated, I will post the M60 code up upon request. P.S. Does anyone here played PoE, and when you die your gun hits the ground instead of the stick with helmet and gun. Does anyone know how to do that>? |

Uhm, what is the problem? You didn't really specify... Or do you want a complete walkthrough on how to convert a handweapon into a stationary weapon? Or do you just have no idea how to start? |

Stationary RPD; just copy the Stationary M60, rename it of course, change geometries, spawn it and it's done Same for the stuff remaining where a player lost a life, it's called a "kit" that contains the weapons and it has his geometry you can change by a weapon geometry (pick the l2) |

OKAY, that makes more sense, sry for not specifying. I thought i was though. I'm working on getting the MG nest to look like this (sry picture is lost, i will post today) As for the standing one, it works well, in towers and such. |

I didn't actualy understand what a MG nest was ... I guess the one on the floor, like you lay down with it??? If it is so, still remain the soldiers' posture you'll need to create (There's only sitting or standing dummies in game) As long as it's not for SSM (that you didn't specify) |
