Reopen your model in Max, align the pivot to the cross
Import your gun skeleton and align the base box to the Bip01 R Hand box
Import the usSoldier.ske (uncheck as boxes and is weapon)
Select Bip01 R Hand, import your gun skeleton (check as boxes and is weapon)
Select the gun pieces and replace with your model
Importing .baf from animations/weapons folder
Start with ...Deploy.baf
Import the .baf
Launch the animation and see what's wrong
Align the Bip01
L Hand to the gun handle setting the animation keys frame/frame
export the .baf, overwrite.
Same with ...fire.baf and so on

Make an effect and assign to the projectile
i.e ObjectTemplate.endEffectTemplate e_paintballSplash
