I have made a few versions of Midway for BF1942 & Desert Combat ( Conquest & COOP ).
The conquest versions have both Navel Fleets spawning equally distant from the island and both carriers are fully stocked ( SSM ) with aircraft.
The COOP versions have self flying 2 seater planes ( SBD & Aichival ) that fly around the map and over the carriers so you can jump into them and get into the gunner's seat and have squadrons of enemy planes chasing you around the map.
( did the same with Wake Island too )
