Ok well, what I need to know is if there is a way to change the mini map so it disappears but keep the map you get when you press "m". Changing the transparency doesn't actually get rid of it. Can anyone help me? |

I don't think it is. I know a client can remove the whole HUD with a console command, but removing the minimap isn't possible. I think we've actually discussed this before. I once tried to make an every-man-for-himself deathmatch mod, which would show nobody or everybody on the minimap, or remove it, but nothing I tried led to a solution. |

well showing nobody on the map is easy, but removing just the mini-map would probably either A: not be possible or B: involve meme work. |

use BF2 as a reference if you have it because I think if i remember correctly you can go to options and turn hud and minimap off but that's just off memory or it may just fade the hud |

Ok, well I was looking at the game.rfa all day, and I might have found a solution, although I have yet to try it out. |
