I took the P90 from the Stargate BFM bf1942 mod, and made a new kit for it to be used in DC. However it's crashing the game 1/2 through loading the map. I don't know what the problem is with it, everything seems to check out. I uploaded it, would someone please look it over and fix/tell me how to fix it? |

Just checked the files. You screwed up the animations.rfa configuration. If this is supposed to run on top of BF1942 and DC, you must put all new animations into a copy of the DC's animationsMod INC file or at the least copy over all the DC con and INC files from animations and then add the new weapon stuff to them. You simply made new files that included only the P-90. Since this meant that all previous states were erased, pretty much all animations for all the weapons, soldiers, and flags broke! ![]() So you gotta include the full content of the CON files you are modifying! So make sure all the stuff from DC is in the con files you changed. Don't worry about BF1942's stuff, DC mod already included those in the files! |

Ohhh....Ok. I didn't realize animations files had to include everything. I'll fix that and try it again. Thanks for the help. Yeah I simply added this to my patch, I can see why it screwed everything up. |

Me again...DC's multishotweaponsmod.inc has no bf1942 weapons in it. I'm still confused as to which files I need to make complete, because the 1p and 3p animationstweakingmod.con files were pulled right from the bfm mod with the P90, they had nothing else in them so it should be OK. Help? |

Well the map loads now. But the kit is spawned on the ground and makes a terrible noise that I can't describe. And if I see it or a bot goes near it the game CTDs. I don't know what's wrong, here's the updated files (I fixed the animations.rfa I think) Help? |

Sorry for multi posting but I want to make sure people see this topic.. Ok, after running the debug on it and getting alot of errors that don't apply to my mods in any way (alot of stuff I've never modified), I ran the game in windowed mode without using debugger. I got this error: ![]() You can see the weapon kit on the ground. It was producing a terrible grinding sort of noise I can't really describe. I pressed ignore and then it said "ERROR: Unknown Object in Kit!", so I pressed ignore and the game CTD'd. I need help... |

An Object in the Kit is not being recognized by battlefield. Check all the objects in it, including the P90 and make sure its coded correctly and running in your mod before adding it to a kit. Make sure as well that all models and textures, all animations, everything for the P90 is there. One missing thing and it all goes down |
