In the FH Mod most of the planes have shells that eject when the machine guns fire. I'd like to apply this concept to my DCF patch, for quite a few different vehicles (apache chaingun, A10 Avenger, M2A3 chaingun, etc) but I can't find in FH where that effect is linked with the plane guns. I searched and searched through the files for the planes I knew used it and it's not there. Is it the same as adding shells to a handweapon?

Ok, I thought so but I wasn't sure if the same method would work here.

EDIT: I just tried it on the Apache chaingun and it doesn't seem to have any effect. Any ideas why?
