what is a universal spawner and coud you translate that thing in brackets to normal battlefield 1942 please because i am not modding any DC or DCF files right now. thanx |

here's a list of global spawners (there are some bf1942 ones as well): http://toolazy2p.com/modules.php?name=S ... wners.html their like the spawners in objectspawntemplates.con, but they were defined in the objects.rfa, so the clients know about them no matter what map is loaded... so if there is a global spawner for an lcvp or something, and your modding a map that "wasted" a spawner for an lcvp, then you could "free that spawner up" by using the global lcvp spawner instead of the spawner in objectspawntemplates.con. then you could use that spawner in objectspawntemplates.con for something else (this is especially useful in maps like LV where they only had 4 spawners defined... now in DC-F, there's only three!@#!@) |
