Hi there, I'm trying to get enemy soldiers to appear on the minimap. Much like the radar thingy but I'd like it to be a permanent setting. So that everyone can ALWAYS see where EVERYONE is, enemies and friendlies. Is this possible?

As a server side mod, no, CSM, yes

CSM it will really work? How?

I have no idea where to begin with that...

very large, and very fast destroyer radar that can detect enemy soldiers.

There is a debug command that can do that, but it only works in the debugger though.....

Good Luck adding radar to soldiers. I could never get that to work (even as a CSM mod)

use different pcos for each team, no need for radar then

PCOs that are very far away from the player tend not to show up on the minimap. I think minimap distance is governed by the LOD distance used on the LodObject selector for the PCO. You might have to increase lod distance for it?

...Unless empty PCOs show up on the minimap no matter the distance in multiplayer? All I know is that in singleplayer, they don't show on the minimap after a certain distance...

right, they should be lower anyways middle number should be like 900, that way, it's far enough not to shoot it, but close enough to see on the minimap, and for BFV, someone coded a weapon to fire scooters or something and shot a stream of them across the map, they didn't disappear until they blew up
