I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to make single flag CTF. For example, one flag in the middle and teams try to get it and bring it back to their base before their enemy team does. I dont have any clue where to start with this so any help will be greatly appreciated! Its client side, normal bf1942, custom map.

A few things YOUR BERLIN MAP RULES (but not as cool as volts)

And the hard part would be making it pick up able (sry for bad grammer there) by both teams

And this is another idea is to make both flag's spawn by the center of the map, and make a flag return for both teams where the old flag use to be

I want there to be one flag so teams kill eachother for it and all that. Possibly a neutral flag in the middle with an instant cap time and when its capped it turns into a take-able flag? Thats not what i would want but its a start.

When you learn how to stuff two teams into one vehicle you probebly can manage this.
You need to mod to make this possible.

This sounds like it would be hard to do with BF42's game engine, since having anything other than 2 teams is impossible, so making them both co-operate together (getting one flag), might be difficult to do.

They wouldnt really need to cooperate and work together. So is this pretty much impossible with the bf42 engine? Sounds like it might be.
