ah ha...well, lucky for you there is a lot of information on the subject. I've made a few maps, but all for multiplayer. I've planned on adding bots to some of my maps, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. So while I don't have a lot of firsthand knowledge to share, I do have some good links..:

The battlefield single player forums contain a lot of information on bots/single player maps.
Cajun Wolf has quite a few tutorials, namely some with bot pathmapping.

The BFSP forums have lower traffic than SSM.com, and there are a lot of people here who know how to work with bots...sometimes its good to ask difficult questions in both; you'll get some good answers.
