So uncapturable bases need to have an areaValue (even though you can't cap them)?

I have checked the original Oil Fields.rfa, and the Coalition base (ie Coailtion_HQ) has an areaValue of 0 (like in my SSM). Being that i intend for the Opposition airfield to become an uncapturable base, i assumed it should also have an areaValue of 0.

Yes, uncaps do indeed need to have an area value of 0. Also, besure to take the values you set to zero and divide that number into the remaining flags. Most of the time you can't just set a flag to zero, you must take its original number and divide it among the remaining flags.

I tried that in the begin Tankerbot.
In the original version of Oil Fields, there are 7 capable flags, all with an area value of 25. Of those seven, i've turned one into an uncapable (ie the RefineryComplex), and rem'd out the southern most flag (ie SouthCheckPoint).
As you mentioned, i divided the 50 area value points evenly amongst the remaining 5 capable flags (giving each an area value of 35), but that also resulted in the above issue.

Just throwing it out there...if you didn't know, you need 100 'flag points' to bleed the enemy team. 3x35=105, so that should work just fine.

I've noticed before with changing flag values SS that the tickets WILL bleed properly, however the red flashing warning on the teams tickets won't be there. Have you made sure to watch the tickets and not the visual marker?
