I have a challenge for all you '42 scripting gurus. I know a few of you still lurk out there.
I wish to make guided exploding camels.
I'm hoping that someone with the expertise can guide me in the right direction, or in turn let me know flatly if this is even possible. As a neophyte to 42 modding, I envisioned this happening by replacing the cruise missile/SA-3 SAM/Patriot Missile models with the camel model, but have enough sense to appreciate that it's probably not that simple. I guess I should inquire as to whether or not these missiles are even considered objects that can be swapped? If not, could I rescript the SAM/Destroyer for it to fire camels, and how would I go about doing that in a non-brain melting way? Also, would it be possible for these launched camels to retain their original functionality as well as the properties of the missile? Could I stand atop the patriot and quickly mount the camel as it was launched, and therefore ride the flying guided camel of death?
I am willing to shag anyone that can help me.
