Never tested this serverside, you may need to try it on a server as I only did this client side. You can change the speed and such for vehicles server side, so there is no reason why this can't be done on soldiers. Since these settings are global, you may even beable to drop them in the serversettings.con file. EDIT: The console will accept the camera shake command! Most the other ones can only be done in the debugger console. However you can play on any server on any mod and just type the camerashake command into the console and have it anytime you want! However you can't do this with the speed settings as this is controlled by the server and also only the debugger would allow it through the console. |

@Tanker: AWESOME find! Pretty amazing how simple it is to enhance the "feeling" of actually running. Though it doesn't make any difference for me if I set Soldier.cameraShakeFactor 1 or Soldier.cameraShakeFactor 5000 The only noticeable difference is between 0 (off) and 1 (on), any other number just automatically equals to 1. Definetly going to implant that into next version of my mod. |

Oh so it's a on off type setting.... Looks like the command database where I found this got it wrong! You can find a whole host of unused commands for both bf1942 and vietnam here: http://www.velotech.net/battlefield/commands.php |
