The easiest way to make an invisible bunker/invisible wall/invisible ladder/invisible ammobox/invisible mediclocker is to add it to staticobjects.con on the server's file. That. Is. It. When you add something to staticobjects.con, or you simply spawn a static object it will be invisible to people playing that do have have a patch file. Walking on this invisible bunker/floor/whatever will be extremely glitchy and hard to control. The client goes "wtf he should be falling to the ground right now" and the server goes "no, he's standing on a static object, obey me" and the client obeys the server (because otherwise people could cheat and add stairs to their client and walk up hills magically). This is usually... argued AGAINST having invisible objects that can be used by those who know it is there. It is seen as a cheap way for hackers or clans to have an "edge" in their server. There are legitimate reasons for having invisible objects though, such as a barrier between two spawns, let's say on top of magically hovering B17's in the air, to prevent people from spawn camping each other up there. Generally: If people can walk on these invisible boundaries and use them to get to extra health, weapons, ammo, vehicles, etc, then we frown upon people doing so. |

75% chance its for a 1.6 server...if thats the case, 90% chance they hack. |

I've never heard of him.....Either he actually has a legitimate reason for doing this as a private mod or it's a new clan. |
