As the topic says i have some questions about graphics effects, i have little to none experience in this field so i hope you guys can help me out. I found this "effect" when i messed around some with BattleCraft, but i have no idea whats it called or how to implement it correctly, i can only tell what i did and the problems i ran into. Ok so i was fibbling some with bc and i loaded in Coral Sea, then i took "copy level to" gave it a new name and saved it. Then i opened the new level and looked at it, i think changed the fog settings a bit then i saved it again. Moved it to my game level folder and hosted a game. Now all of a sudden there was a shinigg reflex thingy on the planes like in some other maps,(no idea whats the name of it) and looked like this. ![]() After that i unpacked my "new" map with winRFA and did some modding to it, just some small things like adding a ammo bubble, then i packed the whole shalong again and cranked it up. and now all of a sudden it looks like this (as in org Coral Sea) ![]() After that i have tried a lot to of things to trying to learn how this works, but it all resets back when i pack it with winRFA, even if i do no changes at all to it. It works if i keep the map in "org" state and just use a patch with ost.con and such. Anyone that can help out here? |
