Ok, someone straighten this out for me. Why am i logging on to some modded servers perfectly fine without having to change client files? I don't really understand it, how is it possible for me to mod a map, but still have everyone be able to log on like normal? Sorry for such a stupid question, but I don't understand why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Thanks |

Some things are server side others aren't. |

This is the entire point of the website, that there are mods that can be made on a server that don't require clients to change files. |

Everything in the tutorials and most of what is found in the tutorials forums. What generally can not be done: graphics changes new objects static objects addition/removal important-variable changes (mass, etc) |
