You should always store a backup of your BF1942 install with all it's mods. This is my (/mods/bf1942/Archives/Objects.rfa) file. Remember that this is the 1.61b version so if it does not work, then patch your BF1942 up to that version. See the attached file. My recommendation is that you shouldn't be changing anything in Objects.rfa until you get enough knowledge. Try solving it by creating a patch file (objects_001.rfa) or making a map patch file (bocage_001.rfa). I recommend making a map patch file, that way you only screw up one map at a time and it can be removed at any time. ![]() Let me know if there is anything else I could help you with. /[SK] Scorpion |

Depends on what you want to alter SSM. So far you haven't even explained to me what you want to achieve Freddy. |

I thought objects_001.rfa and game_001.rfa were both fail attempts? Or maybe it was just game that had that problem. [I'm actually severely against coding precedent. Whenever I mod, unless it's something I want to be interchangeable, I always make changes directly to _003.rfa for the map files and objects.rfa itself. Yes, it's bad practice. There's no benefit this way either, except about 500kB of saved space if you mod almost every map. Yes, I'm crazy.] |
