Post subject:  Porting over the Huey Bushranger from EoD to PoE
I have ported over the bushranger huey from the EoD mod to PoE.

It all looks good except for the coupling that joins the double m60 guns to the mount (invisible at the moment but only a small thing) and the rockets dont appear or fire.

On this particular heuy there are dummy rockets that are blue in the rack or pod. However, mine dont appear, and the pilot cannot shoot any rockets either.

Strange becuase the minigun works fine.

Im assuming that the EOD Rocket which is kinda gimpy anyways isnt in the root bfv pathway and needs to be created.

Can someone help me out (this obviously CSM) as to the files i need to port over to do with the rocket projectile?

Anyone have any help here?

I have the ported heuy but cant see the dummy rocket and can shoot any rockets.

I have looked for the standardmesh for the dummy and the texture file but cant see the one specified in the weapons.con file.

Got no rockets...

So basically you can't find the rockets that are fired from the huey in PoE, aye?

It has to be there, in PoE's objects.rfa. It might not have its own file, but might actually be in Objects\Vehicles\Air\Common.con, this is usually where (in bf1942 at least) they put projectiles/weapons that will be used by many vehicles.

Are you sure you can't find the standardmesh as well?? Sometimes it can help to extract standardmesh.rfa and browse it like a folder, looking at a list in winRFA can be tedious..

I wouldn't be surprised if the dummy projectile uses the same mesh as the active projectile. So if the projectile didn't work, it would brake the dummy projectile too.

I can't really help much since I specialize in converting Vietnam stuff to BF1942 and not from mod to mod in the BFV engine. Plus, I don't have the Eod mod installed.

My best advise is to dump the huey rockets all together and use existing stuff already in PoE/Vietnam Vanilla.
