ok so this may only be a question for VOLT as seeing most of you don't seem to do this as often because it's not SSM. But I created a weapon to be like the assault rifle from halo 3 and I have copied all of the Thompson files and edited them all right, that's fine. the problem is that, to make the the actual main LOD I just attached some more objects I created to it to make it look more like the AR and it doesn't show up in game. like when you switch to the AR all you get is a croshair and no gun, and it won't shoot. I think the reason that it's not showing that it says a little error message at the bottem lefthand cornor of the screen(I have a scrren shot of what is says). I havn't made a new skin for it yet but I don,t think thats the problem. here are some screen shots. yes I know it looks horrible but this is my first time editing geometries. ![]() EDIT: ok im working on making that a better image of the error message. ![]() OK that error message is: ERROR rs_MaterialToRsStruct(), MaterialType not supported: undefinedclass ![]() |

Looks like whatever the material the thompson is isn't supported by gmax.... I don't really know, I have no experience with 3D modeling as I couldn't even understand how to use gmax. That's just a guess based on what the error says. |
