Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

I'm attempting to get the knife to altfire - ideally with a zoom from the m82 scope, and for the knife "projectile" to fire further when zoomed. No matter how much I play about with the code, I cant seem to get it in the right direction. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hmm, I don't think you can have a weapon fire more than 1 projectile.

It all depends on what you want to do, I guess. One idea would be to make the knife projectile inaccurate while moving, so you would have to stop and zoom/aim to hit a target far away.

This would work for a map mod, or minimod, but definitely not server side. Just throwing that out there since its hard to tell what u had in mind for it.

Well, imagine the knife "as is" then add the option of rightclicking to bring up a scope, and being able to "snipe" with the knife.

Thats what I'm actually trying to achieve

Snipe on 1 feet distance, hmm, feels like overkill.
As this is clientside code only, serverside it will not work.

So your best thought was to ad a sniper sight.

As knife only have 2 game frames of life, try to make it live longer.

Think velocity is quite high aswell, might tone it down alot.
Unlimited ammo, fires fast as hell with high velocity, one hit one kill, silent. Glad it only kills humans and not vehicles.
