ah, i can say that our wake server is on 'pure' mode...so if any files are edited you won't be able to connect. You probably just overrode something by mistake.
Do you have backups of your game files? If not...why don't you!!

Okay... somebody's gotta help me out please. Dying here. I try to get onto server's like Moongamers, the wake clan server, and other popular ones, but before the map finishes loading it boots me and I get the Data differs from server error. I can connect to other servers though. Like mine, and a few others I do regularly. But if I wanna go on Moon I'm outta luck. My idea is maybe I left some mods in my Objects.rfa or somewhere else, and that interferes with these servers' PB regulations or something along those lines. Is this the problem? And if so, is it possible for me to just get another CLEAN copy of Objects.rfa (or any other 'contaminated' file) and use that? Please help. I appreciate it. -Plague |

You must make sure that you have no mods enabled. Check your Init.con inside bf1942s main mod folder to see if you have "game.addModPath Mods/(ModName)" if such a line exists over "game.addModPath Mods/bf1942" then you will get a "Data Differs From Server Error", leme just be more clear on one thing, DO NOT DELETE game.addModPath Mods/bf1942, just anything else like it, not it itself otherwise game wont start. If you directly modded any of the games key .rfa files withing the vanilla mod folder, sorry, simply undoing them wont work, you'll have to reinstall. |

Well I got it working. =) When I composed a thorough search I discovered an old boolean I had turned on and left on in my Objects.rfa. When I switched them off and tried again it let me on Moon. I didn't have any mods enabled or vanilla BF or anything. I was able to undo the boolean and I didn't have to reinstall. Thanks guys. By the way... I always keep spare files but this time (of course) somebody deleted them. Thanks a lot to them
