Is it possible to take the spawns from, say, the fletcher2, and use them to add spawn points, but not the first fletcher? Cause in objects.rfa there isn't much about the fletcher2. What I want to do is use the fletcher2/hatsuzuki2's spawn points on vehicles, and still have the regular fletcher/hazsuzuki have theirs. Anyone know a way? since I was under the impression they were two different vehicles, but it's starting to look like that isn't really the case. I noticed there is also a FletcherStatic, would that work instead? Since it is not used in any maps it would not need to be sacrificed.

Fletcher2 is designed to be used when you want two Fletchers in the same map. This is because if you spawn two of the same boat, then the spawns will get split between them, and you won't necessarily spawn where you want to. This is solved by use of the fletcher2, which is really just a Fletcher with modified spawns.

I was going to post in more detail but it seems you got it worked out yourself.. :)

I use fletcher2 usually for spawnpoints...just out of force of habit I guess. I actually remember a problem with using fletcher2/hatz2..I think on battle of britain. I had to use fletcher/hatsuzuki instead. The soldier spawns had the same ID as a radar tower, so it put a spawn on the map between the two and of course you spawned at one or the other.

Just something to think about if you run into a problem with adding spawns.

Yeah I think I'm going to addTemplate them to APC's and also make a kit you can spawn from like I asked about in another thread. If not, maybe make the B17 a paratrooper plane, something I've always wanted to do. Something else I wondered, can you addTemplate the fletcher cannons to a vehicle? Or are they seperate PCO's and that would crash? It would be cool to mout one under B17, make it like a AC-130 from DCF.

hahaha...definitely not server side...but note that you can spawn PCO's, just not addTemplate them to something else.
