This has already been done in BFV... it probably works in 1942.

Try using the Search function next time... all I typed in was "spawn kit" and it was the 3rd result (although after making this post it probably got pushed down).

I actually never saw that thread before.

Besides the team leader kit mod I made uses spawners attached to weapons so you can limit their usage.

I don't mean to toot my own horn...but I would if I could...

You can do it client side, but every person carrying that kit will have the same spawn point and thus it will be a random spawn point instead of the selection you want. The way I got around it was making 5 "squad leader" kits spawn In my custom map, each with a different spawn point, they only spawned once in a very long while, and whoever got them, got them, and those were your spawns.
