In the past, it's worked fine. Just until now, something is going wrong... I'm removing a small area of the "outside map" on Omaha Beach TDM. I paint over the outside map squares with the "default" brush. Then I copy the map, extract the materialmap.raw from my copied map along with Omaha Beach TDM ObjectSpawns, OST, SoldierSpawns and SoldierSpawnTemplates (including the OS from .003) and pack them. I've added the mod to my levels folder... As I run my game while attempting to test my mod, it fails to open... I have also tried creating a game through BFSM (which has worked before) and after pressing the Start button, the black screen appears then closes straight away, and carries on doing this. I don't know what I've done wrong because it's always worked before ![]() Please help me out ![]() Thanks in advance. |

You're doing it in a far too complicated way. tutorial.php?page=outofbounds.html Notice how it tells you to copy the map first, and then edit that map's MaterialMap.raw in BC. Now all you have to do is put that map's MaterialMap.raw into your already-prepared-modded map's RFA and you're good. |

If it just fades out real quick I would say somethings wrong with map build/naming. I was backing up onto dvd and copied and dropped a battle of britain_001 into levels dir by mistake BF go fwooompffhh cuz it was named copy_of! Skip all the editing/painting all together,.... init.con right above the cameras at bottom game.damageForBeingOutsideWorld 0 |

It still isn't working out, and I only want the bounds stretched a little so I can't do this "game.damageForBeingOutsideWorld 0" Any more ideas? ![]() |
