Problem is......
It's not unrealistic, I tried it myself in real life, this gun kick ass.
Holding it on hip and shooting at 100meters, 250 bullets and 240 where hits in a 1/3 humen target, = head and shoulders.
I didn't see much after about 100 rounds, but that didn't stop me from hitting.

This was 240 confirmed hits, wonder how many was hole in hole.
Ingame this sort of sucks.
LAW + M60 + health = imortal
Fun level = 0
