Kind of an oddball question...

I have a bunch of admins for my server, and they have the ability to take PB screens. I have FTP access to check them, but I cannot give them FTP access to that ONE folder, without granting them access to the whole kitten kaboodle it seems.

Is there a way to make the PB folder viewable publicly, like I've seen a bunch of servers do?

i think thats up to your server host, i have a separate ftp account that goes to the svss folder only. one can use the browser to check them out.

You would create a new FTP account on the FTP Server you are using. Simply restrict it to the one folder and you should be good. You could also write a cron procedure (*nix) or scheduled task (Windows) to move/upload the screenshot files to a remote location.

Of course, if you are renting your server from some mass-server-rental place and you don't have SSH/VNC/Remote Desktop to the server, then I really can't help. All the servers I've ever ran were dedicated boxes. It simplifies thing so much.

thanks why, i'll look into it. I'm actually renting through a friend...giving him a few bucks to use the two servers we have running off his dedicated box. He's been real nice about it and given me remote desktop as well...everything I need.

I tried to make a FTP account thru the game panel login (website) of the hosting company, and even though i selected the rights I wanted, it seems like it gave access to allllll servers. I might look into the scheduled task thingie...sounds like a good ideer.

If you have Remote Desktop access you could always install a small web server that uses the screenshot directory as its root or as a subdirectory. That's what we do for our BFV SS's so that the admins can easily view them.
