Just wondering can you mix the vehicles from desert combat and dcx or other mods into a DC CTF map or have they to be the same mod as i would like to create a DC / DCX hybrid CTF map to see if it would make the old DC a lot more fun to old and new players alike because the old DC vehicles are becoming boring so i was thinking that it could be fun to mix up the range of vehicles that are currently in most of the maps TIA |

Good question...never tried it. If it did work, the server/client would need both files. You could test it by making a server side patch file and calling up a vehicle from 2 different mods. I'll bet a vehicle from the 2nd mod doesn't show, however. You might have to make a new mod for it to work...but you don't know unless you try! |

im thinkin the newer game mod can use all, older cannot run newer, added cobras to dcfx?  edit: one thing you cannot add is the ju88 from Battle Of Britain, search and yee shall see, lol, but im pretty sure the newer the mod, like DCX, you can add most everything from 1942 up to DCX, k?

yes you can putt vehicles from dc into dcx and vice versa its easy to putt vehicles from older mods into newer mods but it you want to go shall i say "backwards compatable" its a paint in the (_|_) <---thats an ass anywho first off let me tell you this if you putt vehicles from dcx into dc it wont be serverside if you putt dc vehicles into dcx it will so to putt vehciles from dc into dcx you simply putt them into a spawner to do "backwards compatable" ask some else cuz i forget just offering some info to let you find out if you even want to go through with it but anyway good luck
