Well, i have this awsome map that i am modding. i started off using the midway map and i just put in more land. Everytime i load the map through battlecraft to do some more work on it, there r 3 errors that pop up. they are as follows. Object Island1 not found in Pearl_Harbor Object Island2 not found in Pearl_Harbor Object Island3 not found in Pearl_Harbor Obviously, my map name is pearl harbor. After those erros, nothing goes wrong. nothing, that is, until i try to click the test game button. then, it does that little loading mouse thing for about .5 seconds, then just sits there. it doesn't do anything. When i go into battlefield and try to create my own local game just to try out the map, i click on the map, add it to the list, and press the button to start. When i click that button, the program just shuts down just like i pressed alt. & F4 which is supposed to shut down the current windows application that is being used. It just goes to the desktop and sits there. (by the way, i DO have a network and the other maps work on the local game thing.) How in the world an I supposed to fix this? Mayo |

Oof..uhh...1 would be best, if thats how it is. I was going to suggest filefront as a place to upload it fast & free (and without registering -- http://www.filefront.com/)...BUT.. You could also do this: Open Battlecraft, go to file-->copy level to... Name it slightly different (MyMidway for example). If there's one thing battlecraft is good at, its compressing maps. I've seen 15 meg turn into 5 meg this way. Try one of those...should help...filefront might be the best way to go. If you did email it, I haven't seen it yet (but it sounds like its big). |
