Hello, I started modding ago but patchfiles isn't so clear for me yet. For an example : I make a market_garden_007 and have the files i need (os, ost etc) BF1942 refuses to start.  Some one please help me, i'm tired of naging/asking people on x-fire about it and i really want to be a good modder like you boys and girls.. I made my own folder..But when I delete the patchfiles, my battlefield 1942 works fine. |

you do not make your own level folder, the patch files go in same folder as the level itself. |

You packed it wrong.. Look at the file structure of yours, then look at another 1942 patch file. It should start with bf1942/, but yours starts with Modded Stuff/bf1942. Also...you have TWO SETS of the same files...you packed it wrong a couple times. The path (after packed) should be: bf1942/levels/Bocage Extract it to a NEW place, and when you go to pack it, make sure you pack the first "bf1942" folder. LOOK at my guide again I'm pretty sure its covered there. |
