Hey i am bored so much of doing my metode on getting more room in the staticobject.con..
i am removing the rem from it and its boring and takes to long so i was wondering if anyone know a bether metode?

You mean these things??? rem ----------------------------------------- rem --- HummerSpawner --- rem ----------------------------------------- Extract the .con file. Open in notepad. Use the replace command....for rem ----------------------------------------- etc. |

no i i mean like i cant type in anything in the staticobjects.con, i goto remove the unnessesary rem written so i get room to set more objects in it, its enoying wen i goto go up and remove wen i gone take in something.. i am building a race and it takes forever NOTE: i need to take it in there for patches. |

The regular way: You are probably trying to add things in winRFA. Unfortunately it limits what you can put in. Extract the map/patch file. Open StaticObjects.con, and add whatever you want to. Repack the file. ***The best way to do it: DON'T USE STATIC OBJECTS.CON!!! (Note: only if adding invisible objects server-side. If making your own map, skip this) There's too much of a possibility of screwing things up. Also, your patch files will be AT LEAST 70kb smaller. Just add whatever new things you want to ObjectSpawns.con, in whatever game mode you're editing. |

but wen i put in objectspawn.con it wont show up wen i start server .. only with create game in bf1942 |

You won't "see" it -- you can't see ANY static objects server side...but the object WILL be there if its placed in OS.con. Trust me, I've done it.

ummh static object worked just fine.. i maybe did wrong on os.con before.. however i have to make patches for my friends, dont you get data differs from server wen using os.con for patches? And im so sorry bout the double posting..i most have click 2 times on submit or something *EDIT* i will try the metode you said. *EDIT* thanks it works good , i will just stay to it |
