As the title says...

We were scrimming the other day, and one of my guys requested I PB SS a member of the other team (possibly for minimap). I do, but unfortunately its just a "zoomed" version of their screen...so no minimap shown.

What settings in what files do I need to change to do this?

Pretty nice reso, and you can see almost the entire minimap. Its big enough where you shouldn't have to use something like photoshop to zoom in and try and see if they're hacking.

But..between that and the one I took, well...since it only shows part of the screen in the new one, it took me a few ss's to get that one. Should i set the reso number to 2, or 4? Will that give me a bigger screen?

I'm confident in those settings enough to stop tinkering.

Biggest picture you can get form PB I think is 328x244, make the most of it.

SSrate 1 is highest quality
SSrate 2 skips every other pixel, meaning there will be graphical glitches like missing crosshairs on some results.
SSrate 4 is useless for this engine, it's more useful when looking for "OMFG HACKS" in CoD, like glowing neon wallhacks. We need some detail in 1942 for minimap getting.

Also, you can ask for any X-Y combo that you want, but it also depends on the player' screen resolution. Meaning, if you ask for 640x480 of the upper right, if you have a player playing at 640x480 you will end up with the entire screen, yet for people running 1280x1024 you will get much less, but still the minimap.

Honestly, in 1942 all you need is the minimap, and enough to see the screens down to the crosshair. If you are running an unpure server, like DC/DCFinal, you need a bit more to test for skin-hacks, like Elitevision (for those familiar with this one).
