Cant load up DC maps and getting loading errors. Help

Object britain_factory not found in bf1942.lst object clacton_radartower not found in bf1942.lst Thats is some of them. I cant load up any DC maps of Anything DC. Y? |

i'll wait for the dc guys to chime in.. but...i would assume one huge problem is there is no .lst file, or .SAMPLES standard meshes in your SM folder in 1942. bf1942.lst has all the objects in game...and tells bc what file to load for it (the standardmesh), from the folder bc made when u installed. the .samples standard meshes are what you see so you can manipulate the object. you probably have to do that "make new mod" option in BC. im not entirely sure.

or use ed42.. BC is such a wack program for anything remotely custom. ed42 will load up all and anything you throw at it

Yeah ed42=Great. Very few problems with it. Only big problem is you have to work with trial and error because (at least to my limited knowledge) the help doesnt work and there arent any self made helps out there that tell you such things as keyboard commands.- Still havent found the zoom button. If you do have a list of them please post them Fo0k. |
