Alright, i'm working on a map right now just to jack around with my friends. I tried to get some help with the environment vehicles, adding some blackhawks to al nas flying over head, but never got a reply. So, want I want is pretty simple. I just want 3 blackhawks in delta formation, flying above the map, from north, to south. And when they are flying, you can spawn in them (except pilot seat) and bail out. I'm already using the UH60 heli, so I'll have to use one of the other blackhawks, so it really doesn't matter to me which one i use. I can add the blackhawks where I want them, how high and all, I just can't get them to fly over head. I'll add some screen shots of the map soon, I'm almost done with the skinning. Thanks! |

If you would settle for a circle, just add a radar tower (assuming there are no other in the map) into the air in the center at the height you want to blackhawks to be, then just addtemplate blackhawks to them. As far as spawners, steal a few from a carrier and hide the carrier elsewhere, etc. Both topics have been covered in the forum. Now, if you are talking about flying straight, that's a little harder, because they would have to blow up and respawn, and something would have to control them. So circular is the best bet. This is similar to the rotating para spawner tutorial. In order to keep them out of the pilots seat, you really can't (except, maybe remove the seat altogether?) but you could remove acceleration from the engine and make their efforts to fly the blackhawk useless. |

I'm going to add a paradrop later, but it will be normal, and not rotating. I can't have the add the blackhawks to the radar, that map is too small for that. I know it was tried do the blackhawks before, and I know DCX does it. But I only managed to get as far as getting 3 blackhawks to spawn, and go straight, and up. I couldn't figure out how or where to begin to control speed. and the blackhawks Ascended up very fast. I attached the map so you can see what I mean, by I want them to just go from North, to south. |

How can it be too small? When you addtemplate it on, you can adjust how far away you want it to be. Of course, if you will be doing a rotating para spawner too, then you can't do both. |

custom map no? then fix the prop to turn at 0 and give the hovr engines no power, then add a few very weak katyusha rocket engines adjusted to make it fly straight, add the b-hawk soundscript, and viola forward flying black hawks. pardon the typing, did this on my ps3. |

Why are you rotating it 270 degrees? a rocket engine already fires straight if you dont rotate it, take off the Rotation and then Try it. |

That engine is for the hover. It works. I just can't get rid of the flip whenever I add the other engine. |
