When following the "prepping files" in basic tutorials I click "build RFA" on cruchan's explorer, go thru the instructions, and hit save, the no for opening the built rfa, and get a "range check error" message. I try clicking on any .con's and it says "can not open file E:\bf42forlaptop......\map |

Hoo boy. Well there's your problem! RFA Explorer is the works of the devil himself. use winRFA instead, lol. Download for winRFA: download/file.php?id=1001 If you need a quick how-to on just how to use it, i made this awhile back: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3330 |

Why does every noob start with that rfa editor, it's a mystery. WinRFA for the win! Never one problem with it. RFA Explorer only problem! |

Okay new problem this time with battle craft. i get the following error when it is opened I require the WGL_EXT_swap_control OpenGL extension to work. after loading a map the program freezes and crashes and now my game when joining a server of vanilla bf42 loads halfway and crashes. i checked archives\bf1942\levels and discovered a folder there that was never there before so i deleted it, but the problem persists. any solutions |
