I was wondering, for the engineers gun in my mod(its Client side), is it possible to make you teleport to where ever your bullet hits? This would be fun, but is it possible? |

100% impossible in Battlefield's engine. Completely possible, and very easy, in the Source engine. (Which is why I prefer modding CS:S/TF2 now) |

Well the engine is just so much more capable of doing normal game-engine things, like hooking events and handling plugins. In 1942 all you can do is change a few values and modify engines, whereas in Source you can do interesting if/then scripts based on hooked events fired by the engine. |

you know i just bought source not to long ago but for some reason my sew kickass gameing computer wont handle it |

AMD Athlon FX(Quad core) clocked at 3.0ghz (4GB corsair clocked at 800mhz) ATI radeon x1650(512mb) 2 sata hardrives okay disc drive and thats about it oh and a 500 wat pwr supply and ASUS mobo. The computer i use for modding is laptop 1.83ghz or something like that 1gig 128mb intel video card just crappy but it dident work on either of them |

That's strange. I used to run the game on my Atlon64 3000+ with 2x512 "value"-ram and a Radeon 9600XT. Now I use my Athlon64x2 6000+, 2gb XMS Platinum2 Dual-Channel 2x1gb PC6400 DDR2-800 (4-4-4-15 clocked at 4-4-4-12), and my Radeon x850XT. I have a friend who used to run CS:S on some sort of Celeron with a Radeon 7000 and 1gb of ram. |
