Ok, i don't know if i asked this but, when i make mods, NOTHING ever happons, i mod it sensless, can't even make image appear next to the maps, is there something special to do to port maps, and when i create my own for my mod, it just quits, when i make one for normal, it works fine, im totally PEE'd off, and yes, i made battlecraft set for my mod, so i think its a jerk.... anyways, help is good, and also, sometimes when i save in winRFA, it deletes my files....NOOOOO |

Look at another mod how they done. Then do the same with your files. ![]() I have no idea what you're trying to do or say. ![]() But happy modding. ![]() |

kitty, post code, have some patience. the people here, the majority, are more than willing and totally able to help. be more specific about what it is you are doing. |

You're making your own mod, that is, a mod folder in 1942? Use the mod wizard in the BF tools that were released...I had trouble myself with this, untill I tried that. It put what I thought was some unnecessary files in the directory, but whatever IT did that I didn't do...did the trick. Edit: Never, NEVER NEVER NEVER (did I say never?) edit the map with WINRFA while BC is OPEN!!! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DATA!! Get in the habit of closing WinRFA when you open BC. Do NOT hit the save button while BC is open or the file you are working with will turn blank (maybe the whole rfa file). Adding your mod in BC? Why? Do you have custom vehicles added or something? If so just extract the standardmeshes, rename them .SAMPLES, add them to the bc list file and voila...custom objects appear. |

Open BC first then open WinRFA. Then map will stay intact. ![]() Open the other way oround will sometimes make map blank. |

Or better yet, make a copy of the map in BC, open the copy in BC to get coords, and then move to WinRFA for edits. |

ok, first, yes i did use the mod wizard, and i have never had winRFA and BC open at the same time. I'm just making small changes, which is just changing the bombs radius, making more or less ammo, and its not my code, because if i add it to normal bf1942 it workes fine, then i add to my mod, nothing. I haven't made custom models for BC, just normal, i can't model. and how do i transform maps to my mod? Thanks, hope this helps. |
