Hey guys i have a buddy who just got a new computer he has windows xp home edition and he is having trouble opneing his client server when he opens it he is in it but it doesent show up on the internet he asked me what the problem may be and i was baffled any of you hear of anything like this? |

Oh...one other idea. If using 1942's dedicated server, after selecting "internet" as server type, do NOT AUTO DETECT an IP! From what I remember, it detects a local IP. Anything that starts in 192.168 is NOT internet, but local. Just go to something like whatismyip.org, and manually put your IP in.. just another thought... |
