hey i was wondering if anyone knew a way (through server settings or SSM mods) that i could make people who throw detpaks at their feet then blow them to take the friendly fire damage, but to make all his teammates recieve no damage at all? we have a huge problem with idiots only paking their feet or throwing a nade at their feet then dancing on it on my server. any thoughts? |

I would put a different physics on the nade with a lot of spin make em like those wobble balls (weighted ball within hollowed out ball) Dance on that!! "crazy nades" ® "lol" |

You have some FF server settings to work with. Unfortunately I don't think theres a way to tweak SS for what you're trying to do. Luckily some FF settings should help. Something like: Soldier Friendly Fire: 0% Soldier Splash Damage: 50% Vehicle Friendly Fire: 0% Vehicle Splash Damage: 0% Friendly Fire Kickback: 0% Splash Damage KickBack: 0-25% (?) Friendly Fire covers your direct hits. Soldier Splash is nades/expacks. I have it at 50%, so if they had 50 percent health and tried it, they would die. Vehicle here you can keep at zero. With splash percent, its really up to you. If you had splash kickback at 25% and splash damage at 50%...well, it would only take a little previous damage to kill you after expacking your feet to kill a bad guy. Experiment with these and you should get it pretty close to something you like. Players will soon learn the changes, but it couldn't hurt to add "Nade/Expack splash damage ON" as an annoucement to the server. With kickback the player would get some of the damage they inflict to teammates when detonating an expack or thrown grenade. This is really up to you. You could keep it at zero. |

Turn on friendly fire. A. It feels lame to play with it off. Grenade spamming. Xpacks, etc. B. If they do it, they get kicked. |

That's what I like about SSM. You can make the game more realistic or more arcadey. Both can be fun. |
