Well are you sure its not working There is problems with Kits. When a kits objects.con is written the kit is given a specific Class. The Classes are defined by the Slots Slot 1 = Scout/Sniper Slot 2 = Assault Slot 3 = AT I believe Slot 4 = Medic Slot 5 = Engineer If the kit isnt in the right spot it will turn up White in the Boxes. But you should still be able to select and use the kit. The German assault code you posted tells us the German Kit is an Assault kit by this code: ObjectTemplate.setType Assault If this Kit is not Put in Slot 2 Then there will be glitches. Normally if you replace a kit that doesnt have the right slot, it doesnt matter. But this may be what is causing your problems. |

FH is more complex mod than most. What i said is correct, but it seems here that FH has 0's instead of 1's and 0 in the Init.con is the First Slot making the Close Quarters kit a First slot Kit. Im sure others probably have 1, 2, 3 Tho once again FH has Opened my eyes. I like BF2 or 2142, because it doesnt matter where the kit is it always shows up right. Ima try adding some extra lines of code to one of the kits, and replace them to all slots on a map to see if i can get it to be similar to BF2. hopefully it works. ------------------------------------------------------- Update. Well this is promising. Although these Say Sniper and Assault and stuff all these Kits are Actually RPG's. Normally these would have turned White. Looks like adding Multiple kitnames icons and ActiveNames allows you to make one kit not screw up the Spawn Selection Screen, much easier than creating Multiple Kits. Ima try and get it to turn to RPG Pictures though. |
