My advice is... get windows.
I really have no clue what this could mean, your friend should try reinstalling BF. Sorry i cant be of much help.

http://www.macgamefiles.com/detail.php?item=18326 , this is a patch\update ive never heard of, but then its for the mac. and capt., if i could i would own a mac, the stability and strength are unequalled, all the CGI you see in movies these days, they dont use windows, they use macs.....check it out? |

I have a friend who played BF1942 on a Mac. He has no clue what this error is. He played some of more more heavily modded maps too. |

Yeah it works for windows users so i guess its something mac specific. i will forward the links posted here and hopfully that help him solve the problems. Thanks guys!
