picking up kits

is there a way to make it so kits can only be picked up by one team?
eg. only Germans can pick up German weapons.
only Americans can pick up American weapons

if an american tries to pick up a mp40, nothing happens.
if a german tries to pick up a thompson, nothing happens.

is this possable? any ideas?

You can do this, sorta...

Attach a VERY tiny death-bubble to the default gun of the kit. Whichever enemy picks it up will drop dead.
