ok, i searched, found a little but not enough. i have some maps that the FPS is just fine, but for example, Gazala coop, which isnt modded much diff as any of my others, losses frame rate. it starts on the server with no one but bots just below 60, when people join whether it be 1 or more, it drops to the mid to low 30's, (no weather jokes yall), then occasionally well under 10? i even looked online, found some stuff about antialliasing etc., to no avail. any help will be appreciated yall. my pc is as up to date on drivers, cleaned, and defragged, etc., as it can be. its a home server, nothing else running except ventrillo, which, like i said, doesnt cause problems with most other maps? oh, and i use BBO sm. OS: Windows XP SP2 CPU:2.4ghz Intel(R) Celeron(R) Memory:768 DDR RAM GPU:Nvidia 5200 128mb PCI |

coop? Do you know what the 'Coop Bot AI % CPU' slider is at? I would put that baby as low as it would go and see if there are any changes. |

the settings i have work fine with almost every other map. DC, DC_F, DCX, and DCFX, (with the exception of DCX inside passage, it does the same, but the frames generally hang out in the upper 30's to lower 40's with an occassional drop below ten or so), but for the aforementioned and gazala, so far, so im pretty sure its not the ai%, i will try your suggestion and repost, thanks. |

Few advises; Graphic quallity to lowest View distance shorter. Effects to a minimum and so on. If that doesn't help. Close all programs running in background. Celeron processor isn't that great if computer isn't newly installed, ten minutes ago basicly. Check out price of a new P4 3.0-3.4GHz, it's really low now. This will probebly give you a 4-5 time better fps. Memory you have I think is enough, but more never hurts. |

Have you tried tweaking your video card ? The in game graphics settings suggested above are good and there are a few things you can do to your video card to improve framerate too. 1- Disable Vertical Sync 2- Disable antialiasing 3- Disable anistropic filtering 4- Set image quality setting to "High Performance" This will decrease the ammount of work your video card needs to do and should increase frame rate. . |

uh, maybe i didnt do a good job of explaining my problem, or im missing something? my framerate on our SERVER is what im talkin about yall, sorry. when i look at the SERVER manager, (BBO), the Black background with white text screen that gives you all the info, towards the top right it gives "Average FPS: XX". when i start the SERVER, i dont see the game, but does that mean it is or is not using the graphics card? how do you go about doing what urglub and voltano suggested through the SERVER? i looked into the video settings on the SERVER, in the game settings folder, its set at one. so would tweaking the antialiasing, and other stuff within the CPU\computer im using for the SERVER help? im confused, 'cause like i said, graphics dont come up on the server? but thanks for the advice, ill try it. |
