So i was modding and i wanted to make it so when a soldier throws a grenade, when it releases from there hands it becomes a plane bomb. So i changed the projectile type. ABSOLUTELY hilarious!, but.....people on my server could not see it. Is there any way to make a grenade as a plane bomb or torpedo or anything like that, but still keep it server side?? thanks.... |

like everyone else asking these kind of questions i must refer u to the BASIC TUTORIALS and the SEARCH engine. obviously its possible to change the grenades projectile into that of a fighter bomb ... |

so i have read the tuts, and the only thing about projectile adjustments are the material numbers, and I believe that would only change the explosion once it would hit the ground into what i would want it. (Yes, i searched every keyword in my topic) Is it even possible to see the bomb flying through the air server side? If so I dont believe it is in the basic tutorials. Now i think im a pretty self-serving person, but everyone could use a little help....I just cant quite figure out these projectile, material number things. |

Yeah chicken, unfortunately any special changes like that cannot be seen by a player unless they have the file too. ![]() |

You would have to change the geometry of the grenade to something like Big_bomb_M1, something which cannot be done SSM i believe.... |

Unfortunatly, no graphical changes can be made server-side. So you can't add in your own skins, or make a custom object without the client having to download the changes. When you enter a server, very little is actually downloaded, and thats why all maps that you play must exist on the clients side, and all graphics too. |
