Yes, thats right. Our good old friend battlecraft.

A quick rundown: I'm working on my own map, but I used the 'copy to new map' feature, gave it a new name and went to town on that one. The problem: That map was coral sea. I don't know if it was something with coral sea having no flags, but I added two and testing the map they didn't show at all.

The bigger problem: I tried adding the file with winRFA (so flags would actually exist), but now the file is blank, and BC crashes every time I try to load the map. Oops.

Is there any way to start fresh with a new map (say base it off wake?), but use the same terrain and static objects I've already placed? Damn i really hate BC...

Any ideas folks??

Did you remember to back up your game files before you started to edit already existing bf1942 maps ?
