Wow! Thanks for the input Volt - I will experiment with your suggestion for modding the 'objective.con' file.

Oh yeah, I'm proficient with WINRFA and also have some scripting experience that might help.

Okay! I got the "Battle of Britain" map to run in "Team DeathMatch" mode, which is great, but in order to get it to run in the "...bf1942\levels\" folder, I have to remove the original version of "Battle_of_Britain.rtf" map file and replace it with my custom map file.

Also, I'm forced to use the same file name (e.g., I am forced to name my custom map "Battle_of_Britain.rtf"; whereas, I'd like to name it something like "Battle_of_Britain_001.rtf", or similar).

Is there any way I can add this custom .rtf to the current maplist without having to create a new mod folder for it? Aside from making the map into a Team DeathMatch map, I haven't added any new objects to the map, only deleted a few things and moved some stuff around.

Any help is appreciated!

hey O, this is the same Seph from the TAW site.

If you have to modify the BoBs .rfa file, then you shouldn't be able to get on the =TAW= BoB or any other pure-mode BoB. It should sense the difference in your map, and tell you that the map differs from server.

As for the BoB_001 and such, that is what you want to do, you'll just tell the server to run the _00# version of the map.

If you want to try it this way, you can serverside the conquest mode so the Axis don't lose tickets and start with the same number of tickets as Allies. This will effectively make it TDM. Also, you can add spawns to the Allied runway.
