and how did you get the other planes to bomb with the B17?

As for spitfires with spits under the wings... if it had worked, would that not cause a problem of the wingmate spits spawning spits that spawn more spits until the game would crash? Is that why networkable info is there?

Well network info is there to make sure that what you see on the screen is what everyone else sees on the screen, at that time is it not? Otherwise, you would see a place in one place in the sky, and others would see it in a whole different place, because it's not networked over the whole server.

Maybe this is wrong, but it's what I've come to believe.
