I came about this while toying with the black medal carbomb. I guess I would like some creative input as well. I can't decide if I'd like it to beep to take hitpoints off vehicles, or only infantry. Or, maybe just push them? If so, I suppose I could stick with the code and go from there. Just to give you an idea of what I'm doing, I'm running wake CTF, turbo jeeps & APCs. So far its been a blast, but I'd like to add something else (or two) as well. Thats where the jeep comes in! Thanks for your input |

i haven't tried my repulsion gun on a vehicle, but it should work pretty damn good though. I recommend looking into this tut... tutorial.php?page=carbomb.html also a good weapon to use in that tut above are stingers... |

edit: I dont think I mentioned it, but this is for a vanilla server. Thanks! Yeah, thats actually the one I'm running now. I have the radius smaller and the fuse to 2 seconds. The problem is I want to keep it a FF off server (so your fun with the jeeps doesn't kill a teammate getting a flag..etc etc). The result now is pretty amusing. You drive up to a jeep/tank, honk the horn like crazy, and a couple seconds later they start smoking. Hit em again and they die, lol. From there I decided that would probably be a lot more fun...so I was trying to think of where to go. What is the 'unit of measure' in 42? Or, about how big is it? I'd like the cell damage radius to be small, as to not destroy things too far away (would be less fun if it was too easy). |

the unit of measure is in meters... just really nerf the radius to make the repulsion weaker. also try attaching bazooka to the horn, usually a tank takes 3 of them to blow up. |

Hmm, i took the radius down to 8, firedelay down to 0, and it takes about 10 honks to kill a tank. Not bad considering you could just slam into the tank to kill it, haha. I haven't experimented with infantry, but it should kill them instantly as you go wizzing by honking your horn, lol. I'll probably add something real goofy tomorrow. Maybe an AA gun on the roof (hold e underneath to get in). We'll see, hehe. The IP, if you'd like to see any of it, is: 216.86.145.192 (default port, 14567) |
