Lol np with the English. It's probably loads better than my German lol.

If you are wanting to open a standard El Alamein (no mods) in battlecraft it should work. However the DC version has unchanged files missing. So since things like the heightmap weren't changed in DC, they won't be in the DC map .rfa.

Maybe you could make a copy of the standard El Alamein map and extract it somewere. Then extract the DC one to the exact same location and choose overwrite files if it asks. Then repack the map and open it with Battlecraft. I've never tried this so I'm not sure it will work but I'm sure someone will be able to help if I haven't. :D

I found that with BC I had to open vanilla bf1942 el alamien fist, then without closing bc you "open level" then you select desert combat/ el alamien, and it should open. I think you have to open vanila el alamien to get all the objects loaded into battlecraft first then you can open dc el alamien
