OK first off this isn't server-side so it isn't in the best of places but I was hoping someone here could help. I'm wondering whether it would be possible to use random numbers to generate random spawnpoints. For example I want to spawn "environment" objects in the sky but not in the exact same place every time. Could I place a spawnpoint and then the plane would randomly spawn anywhere within say, 40/40/40 of that point? I read somewhere something about CRD being some sort of random thing but I'm not sure how to use it. Could anyone help? Cheers ![]() |

Hmm yeh I saw that mysle just after posting. I'm still not sure what to do exactly. I need something like: CRD_UNIFORM/0/40/1 which would give me a number anywhere between 0 and 40. I then need to apply this somehow to the x, y and z coordinates for the object I'm spawning. I assume there is no way of doing this? If not can anyone think of any other way I can get a plane to spawn randomly within a certain radius of a point? |

hehe i did sometin cool with some lcvp's I spawned them as individual vehicles and gave the americans no flag. Then i added a Spawner and a Spawn Point to each Lcvp. And the Spawn was random. ![]() |
